This Face Seal Set is a metal on metal seal with rubber O-Rings, also referred to as a Duo Cone Seal, Floating Seal, Mechanical Seal, Oil Seal, and Lifetime Seal. This Duo Cone Seal is located behind the sprocket, in the Front Case assembly. We recommend replacing the original floating seal when you notice gear oil leaking behind the sprocket or after 500-1000+ hours to avoid total drive failure.
