This Thrust Washer is also commonly referred to as a Lid Spacer, Lid Washer, End Cover Spacer, or End Cover Washer. It is located inside of the Final Drive in the center of the end cover, right above the sun shaft gear. The lid spacer prevents the sun shaft gear from grinding against the cover. We recommend replacing the original spacer if it is worn or bent out of shape.
