This shaft seal, also referred to as a radial seal or oil seal, is located on the motor-side shaft of the final drive. This shaft seal prevents the hydraulic oil from mixing with the gearbox oil. We recommend replacing the original if you notice mixed fluids or the seal shows notable wear to avoid drive failure.
